It's a close cousin to Witching Hour but where Witching Hour has a touch of sweet earthiness within the smoke, Witches Cauldron is more woodsy in its smokiness (hello, cedar!). The smoke component is more pronounced in WC but I would label both as incense/smoky candles.
So here's the conundrum...
I prefer the scent of Witching Hour...its quite unique with the berry component and light floral notes from the jasmine BUT Witches Cauldron has a much better throw and since I like the scent of that one too, it makes choosing a winner difficult.
My Witching Hour threw but took some time to kick up to fill the room whereas Witches Cauldron filled the room and the next within about 20 minutes.
I did purchase a backup of Witching Hour when the sale started but Witches Cauldron was sold out by the time I first burned it..
I can definitely see myself purchasing Witches Cauldron again if/when it's restocked but I'm going to have to pack it away at the halfway point for next year since I don't have a backup! I have a problem where I simply cannot bring myself to finish a candle I like if it doesn't yet have a replacement....which is a dangerous problem to have
Currently I'm burning both Witchy candles together for maximum impact and I'm loving it!
